GAIL'S STORY
In 2009 Gail was diagnosed with cancer she finished her last round of Chemo in May of 2010, this upcoming May she celebrates 14 years cancer free! Shortly after her recovery Gail was drawn to paying it forward by helping other cancer survivors, patient groups and caregivers sharing her message of hope and insights from her own journey and serving as a patient advocate and speaker. Realizing she wanted to make a difference with kids fighting cancer, Gail came up with the idea of her now annual Pay it Forward event which since 2012 has provided thousands of Teddy Bears for children battling cancer. Gail’s friends have shared in her mission to provide a smiles on faces of these special kids.
An inspiring recovery following a life-changing cancer battle, Gail now uses her energy to serve and support young people in their own cancer battle.
